Every industry asks something different of its floors. Choose yours to see the systems ASP specifies for it, area by area.

What to consider when specifying a resin floor

ASP streamlines solutions for your facility so you get a world-class result. These are the key factors when selecting the right product for each area.

  • Type and degree of traffic
  • Temperatures the floor will be exposed to
  • Nature and duration of chemical contact
  • Wet or dry service conditions
  • Slip resistance requirements
  • Aesthetics
  • Ease of cleaning, including hygiene
  • Moisture content of the substrate
  • Time available for application and cure
  • Site conditions at installation
  • Cost

Duty classes

Consider the type, extent and frequency of traffic. It falls into one of four classes:

LDLight duty: light foot traffic, occasional rubber-tyred vehicles
MDMedium duty: regular foot traffic, frequent forklifts, occasional hard plastic wheels
HDHeavy duty: constant forklifts, hard plastic-wheeled trolleys, some impact
VHDVery heavy duty: severe, heavily loaded traffic and impact
